- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Take trash to curb.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Keep entryways clear of snow and leaves.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow established safety protocols and use proper cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Set up rooms for meetings or events as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and visitors in a professional manner.
