The position is approximately 40 hours/ week, Monday - Friday.
No evenings, weekends, or Holidays required.

Garden State Retina Associates is a premier Ophthalmology practice that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Retinal diseases.
This single physician practice strives to provide exceptional patient care in a compassionate manner.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities include:
Greet patients upon arrival Schedule patient appointments Collect patient payments (copay and outstanding balances) Obtain patient information and input into Practice Management software.
Answer phone calls/ faxes Verify insurance eligibility, obtain referrals Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience preferred Candidate should possess superior patient communication skills Should be polite, professional, motivated, and punctual Should be able to work well both independently and with other members of the team Should be comfortable with technology Experience with Athena Software preferred High School diploma or equivalent
