Quick Apply Full-time 3 days ago Full Job Description A full-time Administrative Assistant position is available at the corporate offices of a growing employee benefits firm located in Shrewsbury, NJ.
The candidate will provide administrative support to the executive team and other internal departments as assigned.
Additionally, the candidate will be the first point of contact to greet guests and clients, answer phones, manage and distribute mail and manage corporate office supplies.
The ideal candidate is proactive, able to prioritize workload, capable of multi-tasking and is proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in learning new software programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Support executive management team with various administrative tasks as assigned.
Assist internal departments as needed to foster a positive work environment.
Greet guests and clients and communicate arrival to appropriate team members.
Utilize telephone, computer, and other office equipment with confidence.
Receive and distribute mail and packages to appropriate departments.
Prepare and track packages via overnight carrier services.
Manage office supplies and maintain sufficient levels including kitchen/bathrooms.
Ability to lift and carry office supply boxes.
Schedule vendors for office equipment repairs/services as needed.
Manage conference room calendar and maintain conference rooms.
Willingness to accept other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Provide excellent customer service in a clear, concise manner to employees, clients and valued partners.
Proactive, self-starter with strong verbal, written and mathematical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to adapt/learn new software.
Ability to utilize various search engines for assigned research projects.
Ability to analyze and address problems quickly to maintain positive client relationships.
Ability to take ownership of an assigned task to completion.
Familiarity of employee benefit services helpful, but not required.
